What rights do you have?

You always have the right to request your retained personal data:

to have it changed,
to have it erased.

This can be done for one or more entries in different databases.

You can also ask to be removed from all databases. You will then be ‘forgotten’ and not contacted anymore.
If you make the changes or deletion yourself, it will be effective immediately. If you submit a request to make changes, this will be done as soon as possible but at least within 30 days.

Always state:

  • First and last name of the person you want to erase or change.
  • Email address of the person you want to erase or change.
  • What changes you want to make or whether you want the person to be erased.

Woocommerce is used for the purchase of products. Here too, your personal data is processed and stored in a safe manner.

For user analysis of our website we use Google Analytics. For this purpose, information on the use of our website is collected anonymously. This data is not passed on to Google and is not used for marketing and advertising purposes.

 

What data is collected?

Only those personal data are collected that are necessary to fulfill a particular part of our service or to send you information.

That may be:

  • first name and surname
  • e-mail address
  • home address
  • work address
  • phone number
  • VAT-number

Some information in forms is mandatory (usually marked with an *), these data are needed to provide you with the desired service.

Other information - not marked with an * - may be useful, but is not absolutely necessary. It’s your choice whether or not to enter data here.
No marketing profiles are created on the basis of entered data or placed cookies (see below).

 

Why is your personal data kept?

Your personal data is used for a specific purpose (and only for that purpose) with the following legal grounds:

Contact form: to reply to your request, provide a response (fulfillment of order).

Purchase form: in order to process your purchase, deliver the desired products, and show you other products that may interest you (fulfillment of mission and legitimate interest)

Brochure request: to send you the brochure (fulfillment of assignment)

Exceptions to this can only be made with your explicit permission.

 

How long will your data be kept?

Personal data is kept as long as necessary to provide you with the service you activated or for which you gave your consent. Your personal data will be kept for a maximum of 5 years after your last use.

 

Will your data be passed on to third parties?

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties. We only use services that process personal data if we have a processing agreement  with them, if this is necessary for providing our services and information and if they can warrant the secure storage of personal data with a guarantee for your privacy.

Your personal data will only be passed on if this is necessary for the purpose for which you gave your consent and provided the personal data (sending our newsletter, purchasing products, booking services ...) or if this is legally required and permitted (for example, in the context of a judicial investigation).

  • Providing (and distributing) newsletters and invitations.

We do not provide personal data to parties based outside the EU, except for Mailchimp and Google.

 

Minors

We only process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) if written consent has been given by the parent or legal representative.

Automatic storage of non-personal data

During a visit to this website, data about the use of the website is automatically stored. This only concerns non-personal and anonymous data (your IP address is not tracked, for example). We analyze this information with Google Analytics (read the privacy policy of Google and Google Analytics for more info) to be able to improve our website, however, no personal information is tracked or passed on to Google and other third parties.

This website uses functional and analytical cookies. This is done anonymously. Read more about this in our cookie policy.

In short: functional cookies make our website work better, analytical cookies tell us something about how the website is used. No personal data is collected or transmitted in this process. The cookies are not used for marketing or advertising.

You can disable and enable cookies in your browser settings and you can delete them.

Facebook, Twitter and other social media

This site contains share buttons for social media networks. When used, the code behind these buttons places a cookie on your computer. The privacy rules of the social networks apply. We have no influence on  and no responsibility for what these networks do with your personal data.

We also have no control over how other social media users handle your information after you share something that appears on our website.

We handle your personal data as carefully as possible and keep them secure. If something does go wrong, we will inform you as soon as possible and do everything we can to limit the damage.
